Logan Wright, Manny Bofah, and Nick Anweiler scored for Plainfield North (14-2-3).

Schaumburg 2, Bartlett 1
AJ Santori scored on a feed from Juan Garcia in the loss for the Hawks, while Jake Hasenstein made six first-half saves and Andrew Nowak had three saves in the second half for Bartlett.

 

Thursday, Oct. 10

West Aurora 2, Glenbard East 1
Steve Rivera and Oscar Gaytan scored in the win for West Aurora (10-5-3).

Barrington 4, Hoffman Estates 0
Keeper Pat Deroche became Barrington's all-time leader in career shutouts (21) shutouts in a single season (14) with Thursday's win over Hoffman. Connor Hennelly had 2 goals and 1 assist in the win for Barrington (15-2-4, 8-1-2 in MSL play), with Giles Phillips and Andrew Simek also scoring, and Austin Grzebeniak and Sean Kim assisting. Jaime Diaz split time in net with Deroche in the win.

 

Wednesday, Oct. 9

Lyons Township 5, Fenton 0
LT (11-2-3) got goals from Matt Murphy, Frankie Kocimski, Cole Gilcrest, Leo Gabrek, and Harry Hilling in the Lions' 7th shutout of the season.

Marmion Academy 3, Guerin Prep 0
Jake Hutchison had a goal and an assist for the Cadets (11-6-2, 6-1 in SCC play), while Gavin Sanchez and Quinn Turcich also scored and Jack Maley had an assist in the team's 7th shutout of the season.

Benet Academy 8, Joliet Catholic 1
Eddie Manzke had a hat-trick and one assist in the win for Benet (14-2-1, 6-1 in ESCC play). Michael Rindler added 2 goals and an an assist and Andrew Heaton had a goal and an assist, with goals also coming from Kyle Kenagy, Michael Krumdick, and Daniel Morefield, and assists Sam Knapke and Theo Athanassiades on the day. Benet junior Nick Senak made 2 saves in net.

 

Tuesday, Oct. 8

Waubonsie Valley 1, Batavia 0
Bill Motluck struck in the first half for the host Warriors (6-5-2) in opening-round action of this year's Warriors' Invite. Batavia fell to 11-3-2 on the year.

Bartlett 2, Nazareth 2
Justin Busch scored on a feed from Paul Haile, and Andrew Gott scored on a Busch assist for Bartlett (3-10-3), while keeper Andrew Nowak made 4 saves in the draw.

Wheaton Academy 2, Marian Central Catholic 1
Marshall West and Kevin Esposito scored for Wheaton Academy while Marian scored on a penalty kick. The Warriors are now 14-3-1 overall and 6-0 in SCC play.

Marmion Academy 6, St. Edward 2
Jake Hutchison and Quinn Turcich led the way for Marmion (10-6-2, 5- in SCC play), each with a goal and an assist in the win. Nick Grant, Michael Bila, and Gavin Sanchez also scored for the Cadets, with 2 assists coming from Luke DeSimone and 1 from Trevor Jones.

Naperville Central 5, Wheaton North 0
Ben Border struck twice and the Redhawks (11-2-2, 5-1) got a goal and two assists from Jordi Heeneman in the win over the Falcons. David Murphy and Jay Tegge added goals and Devon Amoo-Mensah had a pair of assists on the night, while Joe Kallikaden made six saves in the team's 8th shutout of the year.

Monday, Oct. 7

Metea Valley 2, Lemont 0
Esteban Castillo scored on a feed from Dakota Rowsey and Jake Celinski scored on a Chris Freeman assist in the win for Metea Valley (7-6-3). Jimmy Wyma and Joey Coryell split time in net, making two saves apiece in the Mustangs' second consecutive shutout and third of the season.

Morton 2, Naperville North 1
Grant Borg scored for Naperville North (8-4-2).

East Aurora 4, Bartlett 1
Igor Zwada scored on a Marcus Singleton assist for Bartlett (3-10-2).

Wheaton Academy 8, Guerin Prep 0
Ty Seager and Dan Bergquist each scored twice for Wheaton Academy (13-3-1).
